JOB OVERVIEW

A Retail Stocker is responsible for stocking and displaying grocery products while providing outstanding guest service. Reports to the Market Manager and Assistant Market Managers.

· Stocks, rotates, merchandises and faces product according to department procedures

· Receives product deliveries, ensures order and invoice accuracy and notes discrepancies

· Checks to ensure all grocery items are merchandised attractively as per quality standards

· Ensures all items are rotated by First In First Out (FIFO) standards

· Maintains and organizes back-stock and warehouse storage areas according to department standards

· Adheres to all guidelines about product recommendations and information

· Communicates grocery needs, adjustments, and problems to grocery manager promptly and efficiently

· Maintains a safe and cleanly work environment in accordance with department, state and federal regulations

· Performs light cleaning duties such as sweeping, dusting, and packaging disposal as necessary

· Works with colleagues as a team; maintains a positive attitude and a willingness to help others

· Performs other duties as required or assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS

· Availability to work onsite with a flexible schedule often including evenings and weekends

· Ability to exert well-paced mobility for up to 8 hours, including standing, walking, bending and squatting

· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds

· Ability to use hand truck, cart, box cutter, ladder, label maker and cleaning supplies

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.50 per hour
