Job Description
AECOM is seeking a GIS Analyst based at the Florida’s Turnpike Enterprise Headquarters in Ocoee, Florida. The GIS Analyst will work with a team of accountants, engineers, planners, and GIS staff. And will be part of the Turnpike’s Intermodal Systems Development group, participating in a variety of Turnpike planning projects and studies.

Responsibilities:
+ Utilize GIS techniques and software to assist project teams to understand, interpreting, visualizing and reporting on geospatial data and feature relationships

+ Work independent and under general supervision to complete project tasks including data management, data analysis, data collection, map production, and similar tasks

+ Support the workflow of projects that require field data collection including planning, equipment preparation, deployment, data collection, technical support, demobilization, and data processing

+ Develop applications in ArcGIS Online, Field Maps for ArcGIS, Survey123, and other ArcGIS Online products.

+ Create a production quality map product within project timelines

+ Develop spatial data layers using GIS technology, equipment or systems.

+ QA/QC of all GIS products (map products, data, and applications).

+ Provides technical expertise in GIS technology to users.

+ Present to management and technical staff.

Minimum Requirements

+ Bachelor’s degree in geography, planning, engineering, computer science or related field.

+ 2+ years of demonstrated experience with ESRI’s ArcGIS, preferably in Transportation.

+ ArcGIS Online knowledge and experience.

+ Knowledge of cartographic principles, familiarity with raster and vector geospatial data, coordinate systems, and CAD data conversion within an ESRI software environment.

+ Ability to construct a database and/or geodatabase for the compilation and analysis of geographic data.

Preferred Qualifications

+ Knowledge of systems analysis, data processing, mathematics, statistics, logic and principles of reasoning.

+ Must be detail-oriented, thorough, well organized, and effectively manage time.

+ Demonstrates clear communication with client and department staff

+ Comfortable in a dynamic work environment with the ability to adapt to shifting priorities
