Job Description

In Bloom Flowersis a locally-owned business with 5 flower shops & a corporate office in Carrollton TX. Since 1989 we've been helping our customers express their heart-felt sentiments with beautiful flowers, plants and gifts.

We are hiring an experienced, detail-oriented individual to fill our General Office Administrator position.If you thrive on having responsibility for multiple general office tasks, this may be the job for you.

Our top candidate will have the following skills and qualifications.

Skills/Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel, including creating spreadsheets from scratch, creating formulas, linking data between spreadsheets and formatting for maximum presentation appeal
  • Experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable
  • Reconciliation experience with ability to communicate with vendors or customers, verbally and in writing
  • Quickbooks experience a plus
  • Excellent verbal and communications skills
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and proactively approach tasks
  • Ability to function independently
  • Ability to multi-task
  • Deadline oriented
  • Organized with attention to detail accuracy required

Primary Responsibilities Include

  • Monthly and year end reporting
  • Implement payroll process
  • Invoicing & collections
  • A/P & A/R
  • Accounting filing/organization of files
  • Reconciliation
  • Assist customers with telephone floral orders
  • Other duties as assigned

Hours & Pay

  • $17/hour, 30 - 35 hours per week (Monday - Friday)
