Functional Analyst - ServiceNow (US Citizenship Required)

Overview: Applied Memetics LLC is urgently seeking (1) motivated, experienced Functional Analyst to support our Veterans Administration (VA) customer in Chantilly, VA. U.S. Citizenship is required.Responsibilities: A Functional Analyst must have experience working with customers, users and project leads in analyzing, designing, implementing and supporting IT business applications and systems. A functional analyst has experience in having primary responsibility for individual projects and systems. Must have experience in testing functionality and matching to requirements.

Other Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and decompose complex requirements
• Perform gap analysis and recommend solutions
• Fulfill the role of a subject matter expert in requirement elicitation
• Document requirements, create functional specifications and prepare wireframes/flowcharts
• Oversee the development of the product as per the specifications

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• Apache/WebSphere middleware and Oracle/SQL database servers
• Servers include virtualized (VMware) and physical servers
• Experienced UNIX (SLES) and Windows server systems support
• Significant experience of systems installation, build and support experience covering systems administration and operational support tasks for IT environments of similar complexity and technical detail
• A bachelor’s degree in any engineering, or a related scientific or technical discipline is required.
• 5 years’ experience required. 8 years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for education

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of programming languages and techniques, including SQL, PLSQL and Linux OS
