Image: Overview: The Hotel The Holiday Inn® Arlington at Ballston hotel is located in the vibrant urban neighborhood of Ballston, near all of the popular DC area attractions, and only three blocks from the Metro. We’re perfectly located just off of I-66, blocks from many companies and government agencies including Accenture, Management Sciences for Health, Willis Towers Watson, the Nature Conservancy, AES, Marymount, DARPA, the FDIC Seidman Center, and the Office of Naval Research. Position Summary: The Front Office Manager is responsible for coordinating and managing the front desk operation while maintaining high quality of guest service in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability. Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of front desk experience required.
  • 1+ years in a supervisory role required.
  • Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests.
  • Must be able to multitask, delegate and prioritize to meet deadlines.
  • Attend all hotel required meetings and trainings.
  • Must be able to understand and apply complex information, data, etc. from various sources to meet appropriate objectives.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality of information.
  • Must be able to show initiative, including anticipating guest or operational needs.
