Strive Dental Management is recruiting on behalf of Avery Ranch Dental which is a premier dental practice in the Austin area for over 25 years. We are seeking a personable, team focused, and customer service oriented Front Office Liaison to be part of our growing, fun-loving team. Join us in our mission: Happy Patients - Every Visit!

The Front Office Liaison is responsible for providing excellent customer service and front office support for the dental office by checking patients in and out, verifying insurance, maintaining files, taking and accounting for payments and scheduling appointments. The Front Office Coordinator greets patients, facilitates the patient’s office experience in being seamless and ensures the patient leaves well informed and prepared for their next appointment. This includes ensuring the patient understands their treatment plan, the benefits of treatment, insurance benefits, assisting with financial arrangements and coordination of appointments. Your excellent customer service make patients feel welcomed and appreciated with each visit.

Essential Tasks:

Provide quality patient service through effective communication and personal attention, using appropriate communication strategies and taking the appropriate actions to resolve patient questions and issues;

  • Manage the Doctor and hygiene schedules to achieve utilization goals through efficient use of appointment time;
  • Conduct office duties including but not limited to confirming patient appointments and generating reports, etc.;
  • Greet and direct patients and visitors;
  • Answer telephone in a professional and courteous manner, address patient needs and direct calls to the appropriate individual;
  • Verify insurance eligibility;
  • Attach treatment information, consent forms and other required documentation to patient record;
  • Adhere to confidentiality, state, federal, and HIPAA laws and guidelines with regards to patients’ records;
  • Correspond with other dental practices regarding patients;
  • Collect payment and provide a receipt to patients;
  • Prepare end of day reports and reconcile daily deposits;
  • Verify record to prepare for insurance submission;
  • Assist in processing patient referrals;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Proficiency with computer applications such as Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word
