We are currently recruiting for a Front Office Coordinator for a new pain practice in North Phoenix. We are looking for a team player with a positive attitude despite being in a challenging role.

Candidate must have excellent written and spoken communication skills. This position requires excellent organizational and computer skills as well as the ability to keep up with a high-volume practice.

Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Welcome Patients
  • Check patient in and out
  • Answer incoming calls and respond to message
  • Schedule appointments for new and existing patients
  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits
  • Discuss and explain copays, and coinsurance, and deductibles
  • Collect copays/balances
  • Coordinate referrals and obtain surgery authorizations
  • Scan, fax and file documents
  • Encourage communication between team and patients
  • Ensure clinic is ready for patient care
  • Responsible for pre-collection of balances and patient balances collections
  • Balance all collections daily and prepare reports and deposits
  • Follow all policies and procedures
  • Oversee and maximize Providers’ schedules
  • Oversee and ensure quality of patient care and satisfaction
  • Support Provider by making sure his/her time is efficient and streamlined in clinic
  • Understand and adhere to HIPAA/OSHA regulations
  • Assist with ordering office and medical supplies
  • Assist with office inventory
  • Handle disruptions to business quickly and with strong communication

Qualified candidates will have following:

  • Understanding of medical terminology
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Excellent written and spoken communication skills
  • Practice Management and EMR experience required
  • Spanish fluency (preferred)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.50 per hour
