Front Of House Positions Available

Trident Booksellers & Cafe is looking for professional and friendly front-of-house team members who are dedicated to hospitality for our fast-paced restaurant. Experience is preferred but we will train the right candidates, positive attitudes and flexible availability are required!

At the Trident, our service model is focused on QR ordering, where guests order and pay at the table, and their food and beverages are brought to them by our team. This allows our team more time to focus on service (answering menu questions, making recommendations, talking and connecting with guests, delivering food, and turning tables) rather than inputting orders. We are starting back up our busy public and private events schedule, and there are also interesting opportunities to participate in the bookstore community. Front of House Team Members must be able to carry banquet trays up stairs.

A Newbury Street staple for 36 years, our fast-paced, high-energy restaurant has two indoor dining rooms, an 18-seat patio seating out front, and a bar with wine and beer by the bottle and on tap. We offer Free Wi-Fi and we're the last independent bookstore in Boston Proper.
