Front Desk Receptionist/Security

Full-time and Part-time jobs

The successful candidate should be outgoing with a gregarious personality & natural talent for customer service meeting unit owners and guests. 2+ years Customer Service/ Front desk experience required and a High school diploma or equivalent. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Full-time employees receive full medical benefits after 3 months. They will also receive vacation, holiday, and sick pay.

Applicants will be screened before hiring.

Front Desk/Security personnel shall ensure a safe and friendly environment at the Imperial House by performing the following duties:

  • Answer all incoming telephone calls.
  • Greet Unit Owners with “Good Morning,” “Good Afternoon,” or “Good Evening” and their proper names. (If they do not know a Unit Owner, they will introduce themselves.)
  • Announce all guests and housekeepers not accompanied by a Unit Owner. (Call Unit Owner, notify them of guest’s arrival, and ask for permission to send the guest up.)
  • Ensure that all contractors enter through the service entrance at all times, sign contractor sheets at the Security Desk before beginning work for the day, and use only the third elevator at all times.
  • Call all contractors in their corresponding units at 4:45 p.m. each day to make sure they are leaving the building. Contractors are only permitted to work from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
  • Lock all back doors at 5:00 p.m.
  • Accept reservations for the Card Room and Tennis Court.
  • Register all guests for the beach between Memorial Day and Labor Day.
  • Accept and sign for packages, including but not limited to pharmaceuticals, dry cleaning, and food.
  • Monitor 24-hour camera feed of the following areas at all times: parking lot, entrance to the building, downstairs hallways, pool and beach area, back of the building, and garage.
  • Enter any and all unusual events into the logbook i.e. accidents or injuries, maintenance issues, etc., and report to senior management and staff immediately.

Pay: $15.00 per hour
