Hotel Front Desk Manager

Employment Status

Full-Time: $50,000/yr - $60,000/yr + bounce

Overview

Snoqualmie Inn by Hotel America Front Office Manager is responsible for ensuring the operation of the Guest Services and ensure visitors receive a heartwarming welcome in an attentive, friendly manner. You will coordinate all front desk activities, including calls, reservations and providing all guests with quality service prior to and throughout their stay, while maximizing room revenue and occupancy. The candidate can deal efficiently with complaints and will be making sure that the front desk runs smoothly and effectively.

Job Responsibilities

  • Respond to all guests requests, complaints presented at the Front Desk. Follow up to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Motivate, train all guest services to our hotel standard
  • Prepare and lead all guest services interviews and hiring procedures
  • Develop front desk staff morale and ensure guest services to our hotel standard
  • Monitor room occupancy and daily house count by reviewing status daily.
  • Review front desk staff's worked hours and prepare their schedule base on business forecast
  • Monitor and handle returned checks, rejected credit cards etc.
  • Create/maintain key control system
  • The ability to multitask
  • Complete audit procedures as needed

Qualifications

  • Proven work experience as a front desk manager in a hotel or a related field
  • Hands on experience in Windows PC and Microsoft word and excel
  • Able to work long hours as sometimes required
  • Maintain a professional friendly demeanor at hotel
  • Both verbal and written communication is required
  • Must be able to multitask to meet deadlines.
  • Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner.
  • Able to effective identify problem areas and assist in implementing solutions.

If you are hired, we will pay you $200 dollars. After 90 days we will double that and give you $400.
