Job Description
FP&A Analyst

POWER Engineers, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time FP&A Analyst. This position will be primarily responsible for monitoring, gathering, and analyzing financial data. This includes working with Finance and Accounting staff and other members of Operations departments in defining their needs and proposing solutions.

This position can reside in our Boise, Idaho office or remote.

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Provide maintenance support for financial reports and monthly processing
  • Prepare ad hoc financial analyses
  • Prepare reports and analyses for various Management and Board meetings
  • Work closely with Operations and Production Divisions to develop new tools and analyses to support their needs
  • Support various corporate functions for reporting and forecast/plan support
  • Work closely with Accounting to provide needed reporting and improve processes
Required Education/Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Five (5) + years of finance or accounting experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Experience with Business Intelligence applications and analytical tools
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Desired Education/Experience
  • CPA, MBA and/or FP&A certification
  • Seven (7) + years of progressive finance and/or accounting experience
  • Oracle and Axiom EPM or equivalent system experience
  • Previous experience in a service business
  • Experience with financial system development or implementations
  • Forecasting and financial planning experience
