Food Production Worker - Full Time And Part Time

JOB DESCRIPTIONFood Production Workers engages in a variety of duties in connection with food preparation. The candidate prepares food for use in menu items and also assists in the creation of basic menu items. These duties includes: dicing of vegetables, making sandwiches and making salads. There may also be food service duties and cleaning of cooking related items.
The ideal food production worker can prep and assist in all types of food production including but not limited to: buffet style recipe prep, grab and go menu item production, station setup and a la carte menu prep. This candidate works efficiently while maintaining a clean and sanitary work space.
RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assists in the preparation of all foods, including meats, fish, fruits, vegetables and other food for serving using standardized recipes
• Assists in the serving of food products with a positive attitude to customers
• May assist with performing cashiering duties accurately, collects cash and handles meal cards
• Is responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the serving area, dining room, kitchen and equipment
• May wash pots and pans, run dish machine and perform cleaning and sanitation duties

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED required
• Excellent interpersonal skills to interact professionally with customers, vendors, and staff
