Foam Production Planner

Zinus USA Inc. is looking for a* Foam Production Planner* who has experience of Production Planning in a manufacturing environment.

MAJOR FUNCTIONS:

• Responsible for daily foam production planning
• Perform inventory control for foam block production.
• Account for daily foaming chemical consumption.
• Account for daily scrap/loss amounts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: *

• Support foaming operators for daily foam production quantities.
• Ensure daily foam production matches mattress assembly material needs.
• Forecast weekly & monthly foam production schedules.
• Report & document daily bulk chemical consumption.
• Report & document daily foaming production quantities.
• Provide support for chemical & material purchasing based on production.
• Release, confirm, and track foam block production orders.
• Track and maintain important documentation.
• Collaborate with Quality Control on the product approval process.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES*:

• Assumes other duties as assigned by Sr. Planner, Team Manager, and Director.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS*:

• Must be able to access and inspect all areas of the machinery.

PREREQUISITES FOR THE JOB: *

• Associate or Bachelor’s in business Operations, Management, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering (Chemical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical or related) or related field. May consider closely related practical 5+ years of experience.
• 1+ years of Production Planning experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in continuous slab stock polyurethane foam production is a plus.
• Strong background in Manufacturing Processes
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP Preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams)
• Experience in a start-up environment is a plus
