Job Description
Overview:
Community Regional Medical Center provides central California with the highest level of care available in the region. We measure up with top hospitals nationally and are the 3 rd largest in California! Our 685 beds is home to the only comprehensive Burn and Level I Trauma center between Los Angeles and Sacramento. With a full-service 58,000 square-foot Emergency Department, we are one of the largest and busiest in California. We have an 84-bed Level III NICU and plan to significantly expand our pediatric specialty services. The hospital serves 2.5 million people within 9 counties, averaging a daily census of 641 patients. We're affiliated with UCSF as a teaching facility and have trained 3,000 Medical Doctor's to date plus we continue to invest in research and training grants.

Responsibilities:
The Fleet Coordinator is responsible for ensuring specified vehicles in Community Medical Center's (CMC) fleet, security and corporate areas are safe, clean, fueled, free from any mechanical problems and are in compliance with federal / state regulations. In addition, the fleet coordinator will transport patients, visitors, staff and leadership to designated locations or during events in a safe and professional manner.
Qualifications:
Education
High School Diploma, General Education Development (GED) or Completion of a CMC Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
Experience
1 year of experience driving a 12 passenger or more bus preferred
Licenses and Certifications
DL - Valid California Driver's License and driving record acceptable to Community Medical Centers (Class "B") required
BLS - Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers by American Heart Association (AHA) preferred
Please note: Per the CDPH order, all healthcare workers are required to be vaccinated for COVID-19 or have an approved exemption and test regularly.
