Job Description

Finance Manager
Finance Manager for Honeywell International, Inc. (Charlotte, NC)

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for the oversight and monitoring of the $118M annually functional cost spend for the human resource functions.
  • Collaborating with HR leadership, forecasting, planning.
  • Oversee the financial closes; analyze every day financial activities and provide advice and guidance to upper management on future financial plans.
  • Review financial reports; monitor accounts.
  • Prepare financial forecasts. Investigate ways to reduce cost and analyze opportunities to minimize financial risk.
  • Monitor the day-to-day financial operations within the company (people expenses, third party vendor spend, and other transactions).
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly management reporting.
  • Participate in Strategic Plan, Annual Operating Plan, and other financial modeling for senior leadership.
  • Develop strategies that work to minimize financial risk.
  • Support project analysis, validation of plans, and ad-hoc requests.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct reviews and evaluations for cost-reduction opportunities.

Job Site: Charlotte, NC
40 hours/week

YOU MUST HAVE:
Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field and 3 years of experience in the job offered or acceptable alternate occupation. Full term of experience must include: finance or accounting experience with progressive advancement and responsibility; financial planning and analysis experience; analytical skills, including linking drivers to results; direct communication and presentation skills; and demonstrated leadership and presentation skills. Must possess 2 years of experience in financial reporting using finance systems, including SAP, BI, and MS. Telecommuting permitted up to 2 times per week. Additional Information
