About the Internship Program
The CBRE Finance Internship accelerates your learning and development by providing you with a strong foundation upon which to build your finance career in the commercial real estate industry. This 9-week summer intern program will introduce you to our company, our fast-paced industry and our world-class professionals. Program participants will receive real-world training and participate in networking and learning opportunities within one of the following departments:
Financial Planning & Analysis – Leverages knowledge as well as functional expertise to deliver consistent, world class budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning and analysis support.
Business Partnership – Aligns Segment Finance around CBRE’s business and go-to-market strategy and ensures consistent, world-class decision making support is provided.
Finance Processes and Programs (FinPro) – Exists to transform the way we govern applications to focus on processes and delivers finance programs that align with our strategy consistently, efficiently, with the right governance and full transparency.
The summer internship will begin in June 2022 and end in August 2022.

Responsibilities May Include
Design and delivery of insights that analyze business functions and key operations and performance metrics
Preparation and distribution of Segment-specific management reports with commentary
Pipeline management and financial flash reporting
Manage the development of Segment / LOB / Region / Project level rolling budget / forecast process, timetable, and KPI’s
Complete special projects to advance financial analysis and quality of reports to support management decisions
Qualifications

The internship is designed for driven analytical candidates with a strong academic background, preferably in business or real estate. Applicants should be self-motivated, creative and disciplined, and exhibit a demonstrated interest in finance or the commercial real estate industry.
Current college junior or senior pursuing bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) from a four-year college or university (major in business, economics, data analytics field preferred) Requires knowledge of basic financial terms, concepts and accounting principles
Desire to work in the commercial real estate industry in a finance capacity
Experience with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)
Experience with Power BI, Cognos, Tableau, etc. a plus
Strong presentation skills with the ability to effectively present information to supervisors and finance management
Ability to understand and articulate commercial insights
Detail-oriented and highly organized
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Solid written and verbal communication skills and the ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Demonstrated leadership experience
Work authorization
Strong academic background and GPA
