RESPONSIBILITIES:

In scope:

  • Support for the migration activities
  • Run Service Verification post migration

Deliverables:

  • Co-ordinate with different MSPs and CX to support the ISE migration activities
  • Co-ordinate with Business to inform and take the down time while performing the migration activity
  • Verify the end point status
  • Inventory and database updates
  • Successfully perform configuration changes to physical devices to enable DHCP and/or move devices to new network VLANS for devices scheduled for migration.
  • Successfully troubleshoot devices scheduled for migration with the support of other local and/or remote support teams
  • Provide verification that devices migrated is working properly following configuration updates

Activities:

  • Provide support throughout pre-migration activity e.g.
  • Verify switches endpoint type and status
  • Verify new DHCP IP setup
  • Update printer IP and printer queue
  • Arrange vendor onsite support and providing support to vendor for configuration change
  • Provide troubleshooting support should any issue arise due to pre-migration/migration activity
  • Arrange change window communication
  • Provide support throughout migration activity e.g.
  • Engage site business support as required
  • Run service verification
  • Update inventory information after migration completed

Required Experience:


Certifications - A+/Net+/MCSE - Cisco Certifications will be desired. Experience with SCO and or LINUX will be a plus as well

Experience -

  • Must be able to obtain TWIC card
  • Minimum 5 years of Information Technology Experience in the public sector with organizations undergoing major upgrades to software and systems is preferred
  • Experience installing and repairing Servers
  • Experience installing & troubleshooting LAN-WAN environments
  • Experience installing and repairing & troubleshooting workstations, Printers, Scanners, Routers, & Switches
  • Must be available to be on-call per schedule
  • Must have excellent communications and customer service skills, and demonstrate leadership and creative thinking
  • Must be able to travel throughout the state and outlying areas
  • Must be able to work overtime when required
  • Must be able to provide own transportation
  • Must submit to and pass a Pre-Employment Drug and Alcohol screen
