Our client offers a comprehensive portfolio of industry leading safety and security products, including physical security systems, electronic security systems, alarm monitoring, attended transaction systems, ATM sales and services, and custom millwork.

Position Details
Location: Long Island, NY
Pay: $18-$24/hr + OT
Shift: Full Time, Hourly
Travel: Yes. Travel up to 25% within NY

Position Description
As a Field Service Technician, you will perform tasks involving the service of electronic and physical security to include: alarm systems, cameras, digital video recorders, access control systems, safes, vaults, ATMs, night depositories, pneumatic drive-up systems, and cash dispensers. Training will be provided for specific products.

Position Requirements
  • The ideal fit for this role is a military veteran with the rate of MM, ET, IC. This position is heavily based on electronic systems experience with some mechanical. Must be able to work independently and be able to adapt well to a constantly changing schedule.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience servicing electronic & physical security equipment.
  • Thorough knowledge of basic electronics, circuitry, and strong mechanical aptitude
  • Experience with DMP alarm and access systems, Verint and March Networks Digital Video Systems, and Hamilton Safe equipment a plus.
  • Willingness and ability to continue education on equipment that they service, through on-site and online training.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Must be able to use a computer.
