Fall Student Worker (Non-Federal)-Reynolds Performance Hall

STAGE TECHNICIAN:
Performing a variety of duties for stage productions, such as theater, pageants, dance, musicals (both local and world wide touring groups), as well as campus organizational events. Broadway Musicals are a feature of our Venue, of which we take pride in providing exemplary stage technicians, and hold them to a high standard.Job Duties and Responsibilities Unloading/loading production trucks(scenery, props, lighting equipment, trusses, wardrobe, retail merchandise, etc.
Setup/ break down tables, chairs, music stands, podium

• Assist with setup of acoustic orchestra shell walls
• Hang and focus lighting instruments / setup audio equipment
• Work as event parking attendant as needed
• Stage manager (as needed) : Directing actors, performers, crew; calling cues for audio and lighting ( via Clearcom headset)
• Operating follow spotlight for required events
• Preparing wardrobe department for costumes for actors/ artists ; steaming , ironing, sewing ( as needed), including assisting with dressing actors.
• Loading 45 lb weights @ top of arbor ( as needed)
• Operating fly-rail system ( curtains, drops, screens, etc.)
• Sweep & mop stage flooring as needed
• OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED
