The Impact You’ll Make in this Role
As the Fall Protection Specialist in Georgia you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

  • Prioritizing key customer Fall Protection opportunities in the Georgia markets
  • Managing Fall Protection penetration within key end-user and distributor customers
  • Providing Fall Protection regional training and support to both internal core sales team and external customer base utilizing a Fall Protection demo truck
  • Supporting training program development and materials with Training Managers
  • Assisting in prioritization of key new Fall Protection products

Company Vehicle

This position requires driving a company vehicle, which will require pre-employment and ongoing review of motor vehicle history for candidates who are offered and hired for this position

Your Skills and Expertise

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED or higher (completed and verified prior to start) and seven (7) years of Fall Protection and/or Safety industry products experience in a private, public, government, or military environment

OR

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) from an accredited institution and three (3) years of Fall Protection and/or Safety industry products experience in a private, public, government, or military environment

  • Current, valid Driver’s License

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

  • Five (5) years of sales experience in a private, public, government, or military environment
  • Experience with Fall Protection product categories
  • Safety Industry experience, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
  • Experience selling through Industrial and Construction Distribution
  • Experience selling PPE to end-user companies
  • Ability to lift 50lbs, climb ladders, and walk uneven surfaces

Location: Atlanta, GA

Territory: State of Georgia – including Atlanta, Augusta & Savannah

Travel: Up to 50% travel within the territory

Relocation Assistance: May be authorized
