Fall 2022 - Multimedia College Intern in GAC Savannah


Unique Skills:


The qualified candidate should be experienced in photography production (pre through post) and basic understanding of digital asset management. This includes the use of software such as Adobe Creative Cloud, SharePoint and content delivery platforms. Photography production knowledge and experience is important as some functions may include supporting on-site shoots. Additionally, file management and organization experience are preferred, as this candidate will expected to perform digital asset management initiatives. Experience with Mac OS platform is a must, as all duties will be done on a Mac computer.

The candidate should be highly organized and be able to perform functions quickly and efficiently. Can work independently or in teams, depending on project or task. Adaptable and flexible team player with ability to develop strong relationships. Can handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.


The Multimedia team is looking for a Fall intern to learn new opportunities in photography production and digital asset management. This internship is for Fall 2022 (August/September - December 2022), part time or full time (16 - 40 hours per week) for at least 14-16 weeks. Looking for Bachelor's and Master's students who have completed at least freshman year of school with degrees in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, or related degree.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Organize historical archives and server organization
  • Projects that are key 6S initiatives, and projects that align with growing the Digital Asset Management content
  • Complete implementation of film to digial database or Digital Asset Management


Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Fine Arts, Visual Arts, or related degree graduating after December 2022.
  • Must have completed freshman year of school.
  • Must have minimum cumulative GPA of 2.8 and must be listed on the resume. Students who do not list the GPA on the resume will not be considered.
  • Experience in photgraphy production (pre through post)

  • Must have reliable transportation during the course of the internship

Must have completed Freshman year of college and be actively enrolled pursuing a degree in a 4-year accredited university.Able to work 16 – 40 hours during the Spring and Fall semesters, and typically 40 hours during the Summer semester.
