Inviting applications for the role of Manager, Facilities

Responsibilities

  • Manage assigned facilities and systems.
  • Provide employees with their facility-related needs, ensuring their productivity is optimally maintained.
  • Responsible for proactive space allocations or relocations to meet organizational growth.
  • Manage to a high level of performance in all areas of office services, shipping and receiving, food and beverage, safety & security, EH&S, waste management, and operations/maintenance.
  • Address building emergencies such as plumbing, HVAC, Mechanical systems, building health, etc.
  • Act as primary interface with property management and ensure lease compliance.
  • Manage facilities vendor relationships, ensuring work is being performed to scope.
  • Work with sourcing to negotiate contracts and issue RFPs as needed for services, this includes driving to closure on time the needed agreements.
  • Develop preventative maintenance schedules for all building equipment, including facilities-related equipment in computer rooms.
  • Assist in creating corporate safety programs including EH&S, emergency response, and evacuation planning.
  • Manage to build security program and be the first point of contact for emergencies.
  • Assist with future build-outs and/or office upgrades.
  • Other Facility/Security related items as they arise and pertain to the building.
  • Administers and supervises the predictive and preventative maintenance programs.
  • Responsible for meeting the annual operating budget.
  • Ensures that the site remains compliant with all Genpact policies and procedures including the different client audits which occur throughout the year.
  • Ensure employee's work is compliant with all safety codes, follows the objectives, physical requirements, parameters, and constraints of the project, including not only the user's functional needs but also health and safety, operation, maintenance, energy efficiency, quality standards, contextual issues, and aesthetics.
  • Assists in the development and enforcement of policies, guidelines, and standards.
  • Works closely with other departments and administration, negotiates priorities, makes job assignments, and places orders for materials, furnishings, supplies, and equipment.
  • Manages the selection process and contract negotiations for consultants, contractors, and facilities vendors.

Qualifications


Qualifications we seek in you

Minimum Qualifications/ Skills

  • BS/BA degree in related discipline
  • Related experience and/or combination of experience and education/training.
  • Leadership Experience. Minimum of 5 direct reports
  • Experience managing access control systems and BMS.
  • Practical experience and knowledge managing systems in a regulated environment.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

  • CHMM, FMP, CFM, and/or PMP certification
  • Relevant experience managing facilities with call center experience
