Job Description

Our licensed commercial cannabis cultivation facility is looking for an enthusiastic and organized facilities coordinator and quality control specialist! This role will wear many hats, so please read the job description closely. Only qualified candidates will be considered for this position. This role will include inventory management, facility operations, people management, spreadsheet data entry, supply ordering, reporting, process, and SOP development. This role can be broken down into two main categories:

Facilities Coordinator

The role of the facilities coordinator is crucial to our day to day operations, requiring serious organization, flexibility, and interpersonal skills. The facilities coordinator will work with the Garden Managers to set the schedule for the entire facility. Everything from cultivation tasks to facility maintenance will need to be mapped and tracked by the facilities coordinator. Responsibilities will include:

  • Scheduling Garden staff
  • Scheduling outside cultivation labor, including trimmers
  • Scheduling contractors to perform maintenance throughout the facility
  • Printing out schedules, staying on top of company communication
  • Ordering supplies, maintaining supply inventory
  • Being the point-of-contact for facility needs

Quality Control Specialist

The QC Specialist will supervise trim staff to ensure each trim job is up to our company standards. Trim work is performed and graded by a third party company. It is the QC Specialist's responsibility to oversee these processes and give direction when needed. Responsibilities include:

  • Oversee quality of trim job for finished product
  • Perform weigh-master duties: label, weigh, and re-weigh finished product
  • Oversee inventory of finished product
  • Work with sales team to create sales order forms
  • Work with compliance to create outgoing transfers in METRC
  • Help maintain vendor relationships

The ideal candidate will have experience in a legal cannabis cultivation or warehouse. Qualified candidates should also have the following experience:

  • Experience working in start-up environments
  • Ability to work well under pressure
  • Flexible mentality with the ability to think fast on your feet
  • MS Office or Google Docs/Spreadsheet experience is a must!
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods of time, repetitive lifting of awkward items and equipment, twist, bend, and maintain awkward postures.
  • Previous work in cannabis is highly desirable
  • Experience working with Aroya, Trolmaster, Dosatron, and other grow equipment and/or systems is highly desirable.
  • Previous work with METRC is a bonus!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
