Facilities Assistant II

THE POSITION:

This position is responsible for the care and maintenance of the Memphis facility to ensure that it meets all regulatory, safety and efficiency goals, through the execution of all minor repairs, and routine maintenance for the Memphis facility

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain equipment, keeping down town to a minimum
• Keep facility clean and ready for client tours
• Maintain all records pertaining to SOPs
• Maintain security of the facility according to the SOPs and regulatory requirements
• Monitors and adds corrective action to maintain temperature according to SOPs - Must remain safe and encourage others to operate safely

EXPECTIONS OF THE JOB:

• Travel Less than 5% locally (traveling between sites)
• Hours a minimum of 40 hours per week

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Experience and/or Training 3 – 4 years experience in minor electrical, mechanical, plumbing, sheet rock repair
• Must have 1 year experience cleaning carpet, buffing and waxing floors.
• Licenses/Certificates (e.g. trade certificates, driver’s licenses, professional certifications, etc. required) -
• Technology/Equipment (if applicable, the proficiencies required to perform the job)

PHYSICAL/MENTAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT: The physical and mental requirements along with the work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an individual encounters while performing the essential functions of this position.

Warehouse: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Environmental demands include walking or standing at a minimum of 80% of the shift, lifting up to 50 pounds and performing tasking in a busy environment. Bending, squatting, pivoting and stooping may be required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions
