Job Summary
The Fab Operator will have responsibility to manufacture proprietary, designed products using MEMS technology. The position involves following approved standard operating procedures, work instructions and specifications to conduct the fabrication of product and recording all operation events on paperback travelers, and electronically on the production database fabrication software (PD Fab).
Essential Job Responsibilities
- This position requires performing (but is not limited to) photo-lithography, plasma dry etching, plating, planarization, polishing, measurement, inspection, wafer cleaning and etching processes.
- Notify supervisors and engineers of existing or potential quality problems/ non- conformance's.
- Assist engineering to troubleshoot issues and to document processes.
- Waste Handling Duties
- Inspects and inventories site-generated hazardous waste staging areas
- Assists the transfer and direct storage of site-generated hazardous waste in the hazardous waste staging areas.
- Conducts inspections of Satellite Accumulation Areas Follow documented procedures and capture data, results into database.
- Understand and follow current Microfabrica Quality Management System policies/ procedures.
- Consistently show good attention to detail in daily work with few errors.
- Follows safety requirements as identified by Microfabrica Management.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor
Education
- Minimum High School Diploma, 2 years college education preferred
Experience & Skills
- Previous experience working in Semiconductor/ MEMS manufacturing environment preferable.
- Must be able to handle small parts under a microscope, take measurements using standard microscopes and enter data using standard PCs.
- Available to work overtime as needed the applicant must be comfortable working in a cleanroom and handling chemicals.
- Must possess good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Must be able to work in fast-paced environment geared for high-volume manufacturing.
