This role is to provide regional support to SNA for all P2P's services. Serves as the liaison between the P2P (Procure-to-Pay) stream within SGFA and the SNA business. Provides guidance to internal users on P2P's ways of working and the policies in place for all things accounts payable. Support activities assigned to the outsourced provider in meeting agreed upon SLAs. Analyze KPI results to identify additional process or compliance related efficiencies. Communicate P2P updates and or process changes to the internal user community. Engage with suppliers on any accounts payable issues including service suspensions and routine audit requirements as they arise. Support internal audit team in providing data or process information as defined. Support executives and or their support staff on any process or navigational support on P2P owned applications such as SNA's expense management system. Provide in-person or over the phone training on P2P's processes individually and or to a company wide audience.

Responsibilities

  • Financial Control and Management of Fixed SGA and Headcount
  • Build strong relationship with Department Heads
  • Be able to understand customer’s needs. Manage and coach them to ensure proper use and coding of costs
  • Provide not only visibility but value add analysis/recommendations
  • Prepare monthly Management Reporting
  • Forecast, Budget, and Actual variance analysis
  • Headcount reporting
  • Budget/Forecast Preparation
  • SGA allocations
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis & reporting
  • Provide quality support to business units
  • Active participation in special projects as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

  • BS/BA degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred and a minimum of 4-8 years of related finance work experience. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 8 years of related finance work experience is acceptable
  • Must understand financial statements including profit and loss statement, and balance sheet
  • Must be able to prepare and interpret financial statements and make recommendations
  • Must have experience independently partnering with non-finance/accounting departments
  • Excellent working knowledge of financial systems (i.e. SAP, Business Warehouse, Business Objects) is preferred
  • Regularly applying GAAP and Sarbanes Oxley standards in daily work is required
  • Must have a very strong working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to prioritize duties, work independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision, and the ability to meet a variety of deadlines on diverse projects simultaneously is required
  • Must be very detail oriented, display excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with Internal and External customers / business partners
  • Liaison to Tokyo for Fixed SGA and Headcount reporting

Preferred:

  • CPA/MBA Preferred
