About the role The Solutions Architect is accountable for the design and delivery of ERP solutions across BP’s Onshore Gas business, primarily focusing on implementation of SAP and integration with applications across the system landscape. This position requires a highly motivated strategic thinker, excellent collaborator to influence stakeholders in transforming the organization with cutting edge technologies in a high paced environment. The role also requires working as individual contributor in developing strategy and roadmap for ERP landscape by working with Architects across the organization, identifying emerging technologies, defining Solution Architecture, and owning the Design Authority. The Solutions Architect also acts as a Project Lead Architect for ERP projects.
About You You have Professional Financial qualifications and/or sound knowledge and familiarity with accounting standards in Oil and Gas Industry as well as familiarity and/or knowledge of production, revenue and accounting process in Oil and Gas. You possess SAP Certifications in SAP Financials with previous experience as a Solution Architect or Project Architect in the Finance domain. You understand the SAP Product roadmap for Finance and have project management experience in a large matrix organization.
What we are looking for You have a four-year college degree with 8 years of relevant work experience in designing, configuring and implementing SAP Finance solutions. You possess good knowledge of other SAP modules and integration with Finance modules and are familiar with SAP’s overall landscape and emerging trends. You have the ability to document business processes and system architectures with an understanding of best practices in SAP Finance designs and an understanding of financial and industry regulations impacting the Financial solution acting in a solution governance role
