Description: We are looking for a highly motivated and passionate individual to join the ERP Center of Excellence as Oracle Application Owner. The candidate will ensure the application provides continuous value to the business, meets compliance and security requirements, and ensure maximum uptime to avoid business disruptions. This individual will report the to the Fire and Security ERP Delivery Leader. Primary responsibilities:
  • Responsible for managing a global Oracle environment serving multiple unique businesses, 1000 users, exceeding $1b in annual revenue in 27 countries.
  • Drive prioritization of enhancements and project requests with business users.
  • Lead team of 3 - 5 Oracle business analysts responsible for enhancement and project development.
  • Provide leadership and guide application support team on break fix resolution and prioritization driving business satisfaction and ensuring Carrier SLAs are met.
  • Own and drive change management process ensuring system changes are effectively tested to prevent system disruption
  • Perform compliance related activities including user access, privileged access and SoX reviews ensuring compliance with Carrier policy.
  • Identify opportunities to standardize processes within multiple business units, enhancing customer & employee experiences, drive revenue growth, margin expansion, digital innovation and mitigate compliance and cybersecurity risks.
  • Work closely with DT professionals within business and Center of Excellence teams across Carrier to ensure alignment on solution, standards, resources, budget for project execution as well as achieving operational excellence.

  • Ability to lead and motivate external and internal teams to meet business goals

  • Strong understanding of project management principles and project management skills
  • Ability to handle several projects at a given time

Education, Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred
  • Experience with full Quote to Cash lifecycle in a manufacturing environment
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience related to ERP Application Ownership, Oracle version 12.2 or above experience a plus
  • Proven track record in successfully deploying/implementing ERP break fix, enhancements, and projects
  • Scrum or similar agile certification preferred
  • Proven experience managing outside resources during project implementation, system integration and support.
