Entry Level Python Developer

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology.
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Jersey City, NJ location and be willing to relocate to the area in the near future. This position may require travel to project locations.

• Experience working in Python
• Experience in Python Memory Management and concurrency (GIL), OOPS, Data structures, Functional programming and Collections
• Experience in software development life cycle.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 4 years of experience in Python programming
• At least 4 years of experience in Python Memory Management and concurrency (GIL), OOPS, Data structures, Functional programming and Collections
• At least 5 years of experience in Software development life cycle.
• At least 2 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development projects.
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
• Experience in Financial Services domain
• Analytical skills
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $40.00 - $60.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
