Job Description

Nationwide travel is required for this position. Approximately 50-75% of your time will be on-site at the client location to support client contacts and company Supervisors throughout the country.

InDemand is a national Merchandising Service Organization (MSO) specializing in providing client-managed staffing to conduct retail services such as new store set-up, remodels, and/or merchandising services throughout the United States.

We are currently seeking an Entry-level Project Manager to oversee and administer the company’s project teams in the field to ensure successful delivery of each client’s staffing needs. In addition to coordinating the field operation, the Entry-level Project Manager will identify possible sales leads, provide support for marketing/sales, pitch services and maintain fruitful relationships with existing customers.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations and management of multiple retail staffing projects throughout the country; including, managing and training the on-site supervisors of each project
  • Interact with client contacts effectively to evaluate and assess the client’s staffing needs
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing plan to engage potential clients as well as develop new business opportunities within existing client base
  • Execute business development strategies in conjunction with overall corporate strategic plans
  • Evaluate and determine best methods to maintain good customer relations, including investigation and resolution of client/employee problems and issues
  • Communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, with client contacts, marketing, back office operations, and our employees on a daily basis
  • Manage and monitor operating metrics while diagnosing and improving procedures to increase operational efficiency and increase customer service performance
  • Work closely with on-site supervisors on project implementation, on-boarding newly hired employees, safety and training activities
  • Participate in personnel matters, general administration of field leadership and needs
  • Contacting clients to inform them about new developments in the company’s services and service locations
  • Assist with developing quotes and proposals
  • Demonstrate initiative, creativity and tenacity
  • Training field personnel to develop their skills

ADDITIONAL SKILLS/BACKGROUND

  • 3 or more years of experience with multi-site operations in either Operations or Staffing Management
  • Multi-state experience, a plus
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field
  • Strong working knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and relevant database programs
  • Ability to organize and perform work efficiently
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively with blue-collar, hourly labor
