Our Skills Trainers are responsible for:
- Providing community based work and in-home visits
- Closely supporting our individuals in applying for, onboarding and managing PCA program services
- Liaising between the consumer, other provider agencies, and team members
- Participating in regular team meetings
- Maintaining and processing a high volume of documentation for each caseload, accurately and timely
- Associate's degree in Human Services or related field OR at least 1 year of experience as a skills trainer
- A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle is a must
- Experience and knowledge of independent living philosophies in relation to disabilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong follow through
- Bilingual a plus!: Spanish, Creole, Cape Verdean, Khmer
