Northeast Arc Personal Care Management (PCM) program is looking for compassionate, supportive, and thorough Skills Trainer to join our team. Our Skills Trainers provide case management assistance to consumers in the MassHealth PCA Program in the Boston, North Shore, and Metro West areas. You can work in the area that is closest to your home. This is a position that requires traveling out into the community for home visits as well as commuting to our Danvers office a few times a week for team meetings and the administrative aspects of the job. This position has the opportunity to be remote for the time being but applicants should still be within our service community as home visits will eventually be required.

Our Skills Trainers are responsible for:
  • Providing community based work and in-home visits
  • Closely supporting our individuals in applying for, onboarding and managing PCA program services
  • Liaising between the consumer, other provider agencies, and team members
  • Participating in regular team meetings
  • Maintaining and processing a high volume of documentation for each caseload, accurately and timely
The Skills Trainer who will be a perfect candidate for our team will have:

  • Associate's degree in Human Services or related field OR at least 1 year of experience as a skills trainer
  • A valid driver's license and reliable vehicle is a must
  • Experience and knowledge of independent living philosophies in relation to disabilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with strong follow through
  • Bilingual a plus!: Spanish, Creole, Cape Verdean, Khmer
