Job Description

The Enterprise Salesforce Business Analyst assists the Enterprise Salesforce Product Team in anticipating and meeting the needs of the user base and stakeholders. This individual: engages with various departments across, and at all levels, of the organization to analyze existing business and operational procedures, prescribe how internal / external customer needs may be best met through process improvement via Salesforce features and functions; leverages knowledge of the Salesforce platform, establishes the end-to-end target user experience via user stories in JIRA, consults with Salesforce Center of Excellence in IT and Salesforce Vendor in feasibility and solution design analysis and takes a lead role in functional support of the platform.

The perfect candidate for this job will:

  • Possess strong organizational, communication, critical thinking and business analysis skills, with prior experience in product management and Salesforce preferred (via previous experience delivering a multi-year, phased implementation, Salesforce Administrator coursework and / or Salesforce Certification)
  • Be adept at building and leveraging internal networks, conducting end user research and assessing business functions / procedures to align Salesforce capabilities to target end user experiences
  • Document functional requirements via user stories, including supporting current and target state workflows, data definition and mapping, and dashboard and reporting related requirements
  • Effectively lead and shepherd product deliverables through all phases of the agile software development life-cycle for assigned areas, including discovery, prioritization, requirements analysis, grooming and approval, user acceptance testing coordination and completion, production smoke-testing and sign-off
  • Inform end user communication and training development and delivery for assigned areas, including related content maintenance
  • Take a lead role in functional support / business administration tasks and technical support escalation
  • Demonstrate a highly consultative, service-oriented approach in working and collaborating effectively across all levels of the organization, leading meetings, proposing forward-thinking approaches, documenting agreed-upon decisions and driving key follow-up actions to resolution
  • Relentlessly seek-out channels to engage in Salesforce platform learning, including participation in Salesforce Communities, remaining on top of Salesforce Release Readiness webinars, sitting through Trailhead and classroom related training, attending virtual or live Salesforce conferences, with an eye toward disseminating knowledge cross-team
  • Leverage the best of the organization’s relationship with the Salesforce Account Team by suggesting meaningful opportunities to partner with Salesforce Product and Industry expertise to advance the Enterprise Salesforce Strategy
  • Exhibit comfort in leading all levels of projects from high profile to minor updates and leading multiple efforts at one time, with the ability to shift priorities quickly
  • Be a proficient user of the Microsoft Suite of productivity tools: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio; experience with PowerBI desired to support strategic reporting efforts
