We need a seasoned Agile product champion who will help realize the paradigm shift from a project-focused, application-based organization to customer-centric, product-oriented organization. This high-impact position will help craft how scaled Agile is practiced at a Fortune 100 company and transform the way over 240,000 people work on a daily basis – with a particular focus on organizational improvements, technology modernization, expedited time to market and overall organizational agility.

Enterprise Agile Product Transformation Engineer Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading organizational transformation while leveraging deep technical and functional expertise in business process redesign and Agile.
  • Thought leader in implementing the Agile Mindset and Methodology through implementing process, principles and practices across levels and business units.
  • Responsible for strategic planning and line of business mentoring to establish disciplined, effective agile transformation programs which embrace the enterprise agile values and process in a way that maximizes the value to the business.
  • Demonstrated experience with conducting complex Customer Journey and Product modeling sessions with the line of business and technical areas.
  • Accountable for performing strategic and tactical analysis of efficiency of development processes and how well they map requirements across multiple lines of business.
  • Capable of seeing the ‘big picture' of an enterprise-wide agile transformation and how it positively affects the business as a whole.
  • Familiarity with modern agile practices and ability to define roadmaps following those processes to reach progressive states of transformation.
  • Provides oversight and guidance to team leadership about effective implementation of agile strategy customized for specific lines of business.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of technology experience
  • 8+ years of experience leading a global organization through a transformation from a project based organization to a Customer Journey and Product based organization based on Agile methodologies
  • 8 + years of leadership experience including coaching, training, and mentoring, with 4+ years focused on Customer Journey and Product Organizational Construct
  • 3+ years of implementation experience with scaling frameworks such as LeSS (Large Scale Scrum Framework) or SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework) or a combination of both
  • 7+ years of experience in Customer Journey Mapping and Product Modeling
  • 6+ years of SDLC (System Development Life Cycle) experience

  • Ability to influence across all organizational levels, particularly senior management
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, with senior executive-level leaders

  • Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members

Other Desired Qualifications
  • Extensive knowledge in constructing Customer Journey Product Organization with Lean Teams
  • Experience working with and leading Technical and Operations Delivery teams
  • Proficient in Customer Journey Business Case Realization and Portfolio Management
  • Familiar with Behavior-Driven development (BDD), Test Driven Development (TDD) or similar industry practices
  • Knowledge and experience in dev modernization and automation – CI/CD pipeline use and migration, test automation and modern development best practices (DDD, loosely coupled architecture, API, responsible micro-services)
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and facilitating discussion to explore the best possible solutions and possess the ability to lead
  • Recognized internally and externally as a thought leader and Subject Matter Expert of the principles, concepts and theories of Agile methodologies
