Job Description: ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN Our client is a small business looking for an electrical technician who will also service as facilities maintenance. You will perform maintenance, installation, repair and troubleshooting of electrical systems by applying electrical principles. Must have valid driver?s license and clean DMV as they have two locations you will be working between. Duties and Responsibilities: ? Repairing and replacing defective parts in controllers, switchboards, switches, conductors, and other electrical fixtures. ? Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical components of machinery and equipment, including transformers, generators exciters, and hydraulic and pneumatic devices. ? Performing preventive repair and maintenance of field electrical systems, devices, equipment and components. ? Testing solid state circuitry to find defective parts in digital and analog equipment, specifically cell proximity circuits for frequency and 4-20 milliamp control circuits. ? Installing enhancements and major upgrades to electrical subsystems. ? Designing and modifying motor power control equipment circuits, reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams and schematics. Physical Demands: ? Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs. Able to lift 65 lbs from floor to shoulder level occasionally. ? Ability to occasionally lift, carry, push or pull up to 100 lbs. ? Requires frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, climbing, balancing, lifting, carrying, and reaching or handling with arms, hands and fingers. Also crawling and working in narrow spaces. ? Requires frequent repetitive movements, i.e., hammering, turning wrenches, or used screwdrivers. ? Manual dexterity sufficient to work with fingers. ? Normal vision with or without corrective lenses. ? Exposed to cold, heat, noise mechanical/electrical fume or odor. ? Will be required on occasion to work more than 8 hours on one shift Shift: 7:30 a.m. ? 4:00 p.m. Benefits: Excellent benefit package can be discussed during interview.
