eCommerce Delivery Lead

Unique opportunity to impact PepsiCo Foods North America (PFNA) eCommerce strategy to develop the strategic Snacks.com, Snacks2You and Sales transformation initiatives. As an eCommerce Delivery Lead, you will build common commerce solutions that can be utilized by B2C, B2C and DSD businesses.

  • Lead Solution architects/ developers and develop Cloud Native Platform to facilitate ultra-fast software delivery for B2B, B2C and DSD applications – Executing actions - Working with EA and business groups to align.
  • Provide vision and clarity to design modern eCommerce applications to deliver state of the art capabilities to our business teams at the speed of business while being cost effective.

  • Technology/vendor evaluation and selection for full development and hosting stack to ensure best of breed technology is in place for our solutions. – Executing Actions – Working with EA to align

  • Building reusable platform components by utilizing knowledge of eCommerce integrations and microservices that can be leveraged by our global organization. Lead transformation from project-based development to platform-based development.

  • Design for reuse and redeploy-ability and align business stakeholders to drive common processes/solutions and identify business process improvements.

  • Technical leadership to existing employees to fast track modernizing skill for our digital transformation helping existing employees modernize their skills– including eCommerce capabilities.

  • Broad Industry knowledge and eCommerce SME.

Qualifications/Requirements

Education

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related


Experience

  • 5+ years in a team leadership role defining solutions/Leading teams for modern eCommerce solutions at scale in a corporate environment comparable to PepsiCo.
  • 8+ years of software development experience delivering solutions using two of Java (sprint boot), PHP, JavaScript (node.js). Deep knowledge of web protocols (HTTP), web services and Restful API’s.

  • Knowledge of SAP platform integration, open source PHP commerce platforms or ATG or SAP hybris and integration technologies like informatica (ETL) is a big plus.

  • 3+ years working on cloud native technologies and solutions (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud)

  • Wide breadth of IT experiences in all stages of commerce engagements including marketing content strategy (CMS), experience management and conversion/sale.

  • Deep understanding and experience with evolutionary software architectures that utilize micro services, APIs, event driven platforms.

  • Deep experience with CI/CD, devops development automation

  • Experience with Lean product development and agile software development principles and process

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to identify audience needs and talk at the right level
