POSITION SUMMARY

The eCommerce Analyst will assist the Business Systems Manager in supporting our resorts in day-to-day execution on the eCommerce and Call Center platforms as well as driving optimizations where challenges and opportunities arise. The ideal candidate can quickly forge relationships with cross functional team members both at headquarters and in the resorts. This candidate will also have strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize data into information.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

General Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support to resort stakeholders on the configuration and troubleshooting of their eCommerce and call center tools; including identifying and driving opportunities to solve business and operations challenges
  • Assist in analysis of eCommerce and Call Center performance, including A/B tests
  • Assist in setup, configuration and training of new eCommerce and call center installations
  • Assist in defining and validating new functionality

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years of experience working hands-on with the Inntopia central reservation platform
  • 2 years’ experience working hands-on with a commercial eCommerce platform, call center environment, and resort environment (ski preferred)
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with the headquarters IT and Marketing organizations.
  • Ability to work with distributed resort personnel including IT, Marketing and Call Center employees.
  • Possess working knowledge of Inntopia central reservation and ecommerce platform
  • Possess working knowledge of integrations from Inntopia to applicable fulfillment systems such as PMS, POS, Air, Car, GDS, etc.
  • Proficiency, knowledge and understanding of Inntopia's back office requirements and capabilities; Supplier RMS, reporting, accounting and Sales Channel Distribution
  • Experience coordinating end-user testing and training as well as planning technology business analysis activities
  • Experience conducting, documenting and confirming business and project needs
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to uncover needs business users would not be able to articulate on their own
  • Ability to identify requirements to ensure end-to-end service performance from the end-user's perspective
  • Ability to organize, prioritize, analyze and verify requirements
  • Ability to influence business decision making to optimize requirement prioritization
  • Ability to engage and educate developers on business context of solution
  • Experience managing traceability from concept through deployed solution validation
  • Ability to guide and manage interactions with vendors across application stack
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Access a plus
  • Familiarity with eCommerce analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics) a plus

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Alterra Mtn Co Shared Services Inc. salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Alterra Mtn Co Shared Services Inc.’s total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits.

Denver area base salary range: $63,000 - $95,000 per year
