Job Description
A career in Risk Management, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to advance and foster integrity based decision making and conduct by PwC professionals throughout our organisation. You’ll focus on promoting and monitoring compliance with applicable external laws and regulations as well as internal policies and procedures to help manage PwC’s regulatory, litigation, and reputational risk. Our Compliance team is responsible for oversight of all Compliance activities by our PwC professionals. As part of the team, you’ll help promote and monitor compliance with applicable external and internal policies, laws and regulations and subsequently, manage PwC’s regulatory, litigation and reputational risk.

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrates intimate-level abilities and/or a proven record of success in managerial roles in the following areas:

  • Understanding of a multinational, professional services organization’s risk and compliance profile and leveraging compliance monitoring activities to confirm compliance programs are operating effectively at mitigating risk and identifying areas for enhancements;
  • Demonstrating program governance and oversight including periodic reporting to leadership on compliance monitoring metrics and overall program status;
  • Identifying opportunities for new and innovative ways of leveraging technology to solve compliance monitoring problems;
  • Interacting with and assisting compliance leaders across a wide range of subject matter areas (e.g., anti-corruption, privacy and information protection, regulatory, independence, and others) to understand unique monitoring requirements and incorporate them into an integrated monitoring process and strategy;
  • Collaborating with compliance program leaders and data domain owners to leverage data necessary to perform compliance monitoring activities;
  • Leveraging technology solutions and blending disparate data sources to design, implement and operationalize compliance monitoring activities across compliance programs to drive greater insights into whether compliance programs controls are operating as expected and effectively mitigating risks;
  • Developing and leveraging compliance monitoring activity design methodologies and playbooks to assist compliance programs with enhancing existing and designing new compliance monitoring activities;
  • Developing, maintaining and assisting compliance programs with developing and managing their respective compliance monitoring plans;
  • Collaborating with compliance program leaders and Ethics & Compliance leadership to design, build and maintain various monitoring-related reporting (e.g., collecting and aggregating monitoring results into user-based customized reporting);
  • Presenting to senior leaders and obtaining buy-in from key stakeholders; and
  • Fostering positive working relationships across a large organization, leading discussions and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders (e.g., US Tech, Legal, Finance and One Firm Risk Organization) to support executing, reporting on and continually enhancing monitoring activities.
