Daily Duties During your shift you would assist the individual in everyday activities including cooking, cleaning, playing games, going shopping, going to doctor’s appointments, and maintaining appropriate hygiene. You will also help the induvial with basic financial decisions, administer medication when needed, and attend local community engagement events. You will document everything that happened during your shift, document behaviors, and implement behavioral safety plans

Valid driver's license and vehicle insurance

Reliable, safe transportation while on shift. This includes the ability to safely drive in all road and weather conditions as safely possible.
Able to complete and maintain all necessary training and certification requirements
Demonstrate the ability to work independently with a minimum supervision
Ability to communicate both verbally and in written form

Qualifications

  • Dependable with a good work ethic
  • Valid driver’s license in good standing? (Required)
  • Reliable transportation that could be used to transport those you serve
  • Basic Computer skills for electronic charting
  • No record of abuse or neglect or police record of a felony
  • High school or equivalent (Required)
  • Current automobile insurance
  • Ability to drive clients in your personal vehicle
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality and protect individual rights
  • Have proven skills in communication, spoken, written, and listening; observation; problem solving
  • Knowledge of human growth and behavior, time management skills, and understanding of social systems
  • Ability to handle a variety of situations and personalities and comfortable working with high behavioral individuals

License:

  • CPR/First Aid (Preferred)
  • Medication Aide (Preferred)
  • Driver's License (Required)

Pay Frequency:

  • bi weekly ( Fridays)

This Job Is:

Duties:
