The Sanmina facility in Austin, Texas provides precision machining and mechanical assembly services to customers. Precision machining capabilities include vertical milling, horizontal milling, and turning on a wide range of materials including aluminum, copper, composites, stainless titanium, and high alloy steel with a milling envelope of up to 60" x 50" x 40". The facility specializes in high-mix, low volume production and also offers sub-assembly, integration, New Product Introduction services, and clean room assembly

Responsible for loading, delivering, and unloading product and supplies, packages materials and products manually. Responsible of performing basic quality control checks including measuring, weighing, strength testing, package counts, and evaluating a product or package appearance. Folds & tapes boxes applies labels and stacks boxes on pallets according to direction as well as transferring material to customers sites in a prompt and safe manner while maintaining all company directives for the safe and efficient operation of the truck.



Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:


  • Drivers must provide outstanding and consistent customer service while delivering our products to customers. Need to know or develop an understanding of our products and inventory.
  • Ensure proper materials, items, and equipment have been packed and loaded onto the vehicle for delivery
  • Properly load materials onto the vehicle in a safe manner to ensure they are not damaged during the loading, transport, and unloading process
  • Deliver all materials, equipment, and products to a job as assigned
  • Inspect vehicles before each use
  • Wash exterior and maintain interior cleanliness of Company vehicles
  • Return unused product and materials from work sites(s) and return to vendor for credit on the company account
  • Retrieve original invoice from AP Technician and provide to the vendor
  • Complete all required documents, complete vehicle inspections, obtain signatures and submit as required
  • Practice proper safety protocols and utilize proper safety equipment
  • Any other field duties as assigned
  • Daily loading and unloading of products in trucks utilizing forklift and/or hand truck.
  • Assist with delivering and transporting materials to customers.
  • Receive, inspect, and stock all merchandise.
  • Verify all items received to items ordered for accuracy.
  • Pick and verify orders for customers and inter-office transfers.
  • Prepare orders for shipment as needed.
  • Collect invoices with proper signatures and return them to the plant.
  • Responsible for a daily checklist of truck and forklift maintenance and reporting in/out times with merchandise returns.
  • Assist management with inventory counts and provide daily upkeep of the Warehouse.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma
  • Minimum 4 years of relates material handler driver experience
  • A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of manager, clients, customers, and the general public
  • Interpersonal skills to develop and maintain professional working relationships with builders, vendors, subordinates, and co-workers
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to proactively identify, analyze, address and resolve problem areas, conflicts, and issues; strong decision-making skills
  • Organizational skills to insure adequate tracking systems are utilized to maintain and track all required information associated with the ordering and production process
  • Working knowledge of internet, inventory, project management, spreadsheet, and word processor software and order processing systems
