Driver & DTS Helper

Under direct supervision, responsible for driving, loading, and unloading van to transport materials, equipment, and passengers. Provides DTS assistance as required. Works under the direct supervision of senior operations staff. Reports to the Director of Manufacturing.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Makes deliveries and picks up materials, etc. using company van

2. Assist and Support our Shipping / Receiving department as needed

3. Keeps vehicle clean and checks conditions, such as tires, brakes, lights and gas, and oil and water supply.

4. Trained in dock to stock procedures, provides assistance as necessary.

5. Performs other tasks as assigned.

6. Maintains all a positive work environment by professional and courteous conduct and communications with others, including supervisors, co-workers, clients and vendors.

EDUCATION REQUIRED:

Ability to read and write at high school level required. Valid driver’s license and ability to drive truck, van, forklift, and related motor vehicles required.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

6 months previous experience preferred.
