We offer in-home, personalized pet care to people and families in the Pittsburgh area. Our mission is to keep pets at home in a loving and attentive atmosphere until our clients return. We are seeking to grow our team of pet sitters and dog walkers.

What we do:

Our services to our furry, fluffy, feathery and scaly friends include:

• Afternoon dog walks of various lengths M-F (including some weekends based on client requests/walker availability).
• Stop-in pet care visits (ranging from 15 minutes to 3 hours).
• Pet taxi service (primarily used for getting dogs to the vet and groomers).
• Overnight stays in our client's homes when they are out of town.

All pet sitters and clients will get a chance to meet face to face before pet care services begin to be sure it is a good fit. Detailed instructions will be given on each job, and after a pet sitter has met with the client, they will be performing all duties on their own. We offer flexible hours and are willing to work with schedules, but someone with afternoon availability and weekend availability would be best. New hires will be employees and will typically work 10-20 hours per week. Tips and extra tail wags can be earned from happy clients!

This job is for you if:

• You LOVE animals!
• You have patience with animals.
• You have a flexible schedule.
• You have experience with dogs, cats and small pets (i.e. hamsters and guinea pigs).
• You have reliable (non-public) transportation, including current registration and insurance.
• You have a smartphone for accessing our app after caring for a pet.
• You are dependable and possess good communication skills.

Extra Awesome if you:

• Have worked previously at a kennel, vet's office, pet store, stable, wildlife sanctuary, aquarium, zoo, jungle, or somewhere else where keeping animals happy and safe was your first priority.
• You have experience with exotic pets (reptiles, birds, fish) - this is not required, but we would love to train you on these creatures if you have no previous experience.

• Have volunteered at an animal shelter.

• Are in school/have gone to school in an animal related field.

About us:
Captain Flosse Dog's Pet Service is based in Pittsburgh and we serve primarily the North Hills (Bellevue, Ross, Avalon, McCandless, Wexford, Allison Park, Franklin Park and surrounding areas), Sewickley, Cranberry and Gibsonia. We also serve select areas of Cranberry and Greentree. We are NOT a kennel or boarding facility; all animal care is done out of our client's homes. Our clients love us, and we strive to keep strong, positive relationships and get to know each other like family.

Pay: $8.00 - $15.00 per hour
