Distribution Person I

The Distribution Person assists in the picking/packing of finished goods, and the loading, unloading, and storage of both finished goods and raw materials.

• Pick and pack goods to ensure that they correspond with the pickticket received, and that the order is in accordance with customer guidelines.

• 
  Manually load/unload deliveries of finished goods and raw materials.

• 
  Store goods in appropriate section of warehouse as directed.

• 
  Accurately process various transactions, utilizing warehouse management systems as necessary.

• 
  Monitor product quality and report any problems to Team Leader/Supervisor/Manager.

• 
  Maintain an acceptable level of productivity and maintain an accurate log of activity.

• 
  Adhere to all policies and procedures.

• 
  Observe all health, safety and hygiene rules.

• 
  Maintain a clean working environment.

• 
  Perform other related duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• 
  High school diploma or equivalent.

• 
  Related work experience in warehousing and distribution preferred.

• 
  Basic Math Skills.

• 
  Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.

• 
  Able to work Overtime as needed in order to support the business needs.

• 
  The ability to lift 50 lbs.
