THE ROLE

Teach For America seeks a Director, Recruitment Demand Generation , who will lead key elements of the audience-facing lead generation marketing strategy on behalf of the Recruitment Tea m. This individual will set the vision for and lead the execution of recruitment content strategy, cross-channel events promotion, and field enablement strategies. They will be responsible for the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across a selection of earned, paid, and owned marketing channels that drive strong attendance to our national immersive experiences and events, deliver reciprocal value for our recruitment partners, and generate qualified leads for our national corps. They will also develop the recruitment tools, templates, and market-specific content in support of the recruitment ground game and our team of more than 150 field recruitment staff. This individual will collaborate internally with key stakeholders including the Strategic Initiatives, national marketing, and recruitment teams, as well as externally with outside agencies to accomplish their goals .

The ideal candidate has a background in integrated marketing strategy with experience in both online and offline tactics, digital marketing, field enablement, events marketing, and demand generation strategies. Please note that the scope and/or depth of responsibilities may vary if/when the role is up scoped to the Managing Director title band.

As a D, Recruitment Demand Generation , you will support the Recruitment Team’s undeniably consequential work, fueling TFA’s Theory of Change and broader movement for social equity in the nation. THE PERSON

The Director, Recruitment Demand Generation , will take on the following responsibilities:

[ 15 %] Set vision and direction for recruitment lead generation strategy and participant journey in collaboration with VP, Strategic Initiatives and n ational marketing team stakeholders. Support the design and implementation of the cross-channel recruitment lead generation audience segmentation, journey maps, and core omnichannel strategy to attract high volume leads.

[20%] Leverage reasoning and strategic thinking through on-going analysis, testing, and project initiatives to continuously evolve and assess strategy to push the lead generation work forward in a targeted, evidenced-based way alongside key internal partners and stakeholders.

[ 30 %] Design and lead implementation of the integrated marketing strategy to support driving strong lead generation through immersive large-scale experiences and events throughout the participant journey. This will include developing print collateral and digital assets for email, social media, and events channels. This individual will measure and report on program performance using in-house analytics and third-party tools [as needed]; they will share insights and results with cross-functional and executive stakeholders on quarterly basis and modify campaign direction or initiative based on real-time insights [if needed].

[10%] Design and manage execution of the national C ampus Ambassador organic social media strategy and corresponding experimentation learning agenda in partnership with the SMD, Influencer Strategy, National Marketing Team, and relevant field partners.

[25 %] Build and strengthen relationships and infrastructure necessary across the RT and broader organization to steward a recruitment lead generation engine. Expertly navigate cross-functional teams, partners, and stakeholders to build context, deepen trust, and establish effective working alliances in service to team outcomes. Work closely with internal teams to create the foundational reporting and technical infrastructure needed to deliver on the recruitment lead generation journey.

THE MUST HAVES

Prior Experience

· Bachelor's degree required

· ~7 years of professional experience preferred

Graphic design expertise or copyrighting experience

Omnichannel marketing expertise that includes a combination of digital marketing, field enablement, events, and lead generation experience

Experience working with youth and/or college students

Work Demands

Working with colleagues across the country leveraging remote technologies (e.g. phone, videoconference)

Ability to travel to campuses in various US cities as needed

Willingness to work some weekends and evenings

Additional Considerations

Ability to understand, interpret, and leverage data and insights into actionable strategic recommendations

Ability to apply UX and human-centered design principles to build marketing capabilities into events and experiences

Innovative audience segmentation and journey mapping capabilities
