Your Role

We are looking for a Director - Private Equity. You will be responsible for liasoning and developing relationships with Private Equity firms and generating sales leads from the healthcare portfolio of these firms. You will also be responsible for driving new strategic and tactical opportunities for the business. Reporting to VP of Strategy & Business Development, you will work closely with top Innovaccer executives as well as closely collaborate with Innovaccer’s current and prospective investors. You will have the opportunity to develop a set of large customer accounts, and work closely with dedicated support teams. Furthermore, you will partner cross-functionally across the company (e.g., investor relations, sales leadership) to align on and execute against an enterprise go to market strategy.

A Day in the Life at Innovaccer

  • Own and support relationships with Private Equity and Growth Investors, generating new sales & partnership opportunities and progressing existing relationships.
  • Support the go to market process for all PE owned opportunities, including initial portfolio company communications, on-site presentations and workshops, negotiations, and deal signing
  • Work closely with GTM organization such as marketing, growth strategy, and provider solutions product teams to refine sales pitches, sales collateral, and demos while building Innovaccer and provider expertise
  • Represent the company at relevant conferences

What You Need

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of Healthcare PE coverage experience
  • Experience and deep understanding of how private equity functions and relationships with their investment teams and operating partners
  • Demonstrated ability and tenacity to achieve targets
  • Ability to prospect potential clients through research, networking, and cold-calling
  • Ability to develop and persuasively lead complex business presentations

  • Relationship building, especially with large and mid-market private equity groups whose healthcare portfolio could be potential customers
  • Provider & payor expertise
  • PE contacts and established network
