WSP is currently initiating a search for a Director of Structural Engineering for the Dallas Transportation Structures Team.Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead growth and development of the Structures team, including interfacing with the Local Structure TEC Lead and the Transportation Local Business Line Lead, meeting with clients to develop and expand work, and strategically teaming with other consultants
  • Manage bridge/structural tasks as part of project development, including plan and report production
  • Successfully interface with staff from a range of other disciplines (traffic, civil, planning, geotechnical, etc.) to support a diverse range of projects
  • Mentoring and developing technical capabilities of mid-level and junior staff
  • Working on large, multi-discipline, infrastructure capital projects

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (M.S. in Civil Engineering is strongly preferred)
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in transportation and infrastructure projects
  • Minimum 10 years in bridge engineering industry
  • TxDOT bridge design experience
  • Design-build Project experience
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the State of Texas or ability to obtain P.E. within 6 months.
