We are currently looking for a motivated and talented Director Hiring Operations to join our Business Operations department.*

Job Purpose: * Directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination, and execution of oneZero’s hiring and recruitment function.

Duties: *

  • Manage the entire hiring and recruitment function, including:
  • Work with Finance to maintain annual hiring plans and budgets. Update the hiring plan regularly and provide reports and analyses as needed.
  • Manage the full hiring lifecycle, from job posting creation, applicant evaluation, interview scheduling, personally interview all candidates and document/summarize hiring team feedback to make determinations. Extend offers to successful candidates and negotiate and close within the hiring budget. Post-acceptance, manage full onboarding process through a new hires’ first day.
  • Manage external recruiter relationships, maintain and negotiate all service agreements. Also make external contacts to directly recruit high-quality candidates for select roles.
  • Serve as the HR liaison to hiring managers and executive management. Meet regularly with hiring managers to review and maintain progress on hiring plan, discuss strategies for hard-to-fill roles and escalate any issues or concerns.
  • Formalize a hiring and interview framework, train staff on proper interview practices and techniques. Regularly review internal hiring policies and recommend enhancements for efficiency and scalability.
  • Maintain complete and accurate job descriptions for all roles (within the internal job architecture platform and salary libraries).
  • Maintain personnel files, employee documentation, I-9/E-VERIFY, conduct background checks, manage all sponsorship and visa applications and renewals.
  • May be asked to contribute to other department- or company-wide process improvement projects outside of the direct scope of hiring.
  • Is responsible, along with all other management and staff, for creating a work environment conducive to exceptional productivity and high employee morale.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with demonstrated experience working vertically in an organization from C-level down.
  • 8+ years of related experience with demonstrated experience managing a full hiring lifecycle, including hands-on interviewing and negotiation.
  • Hands-on experience with job architecture platforms and salary libraries.
  • Experience with HR management and applicant tracking systems (BambooHR a plus)
  • Previous experience with technology and/or finance companies a plus.
  • Experience in multiple global jurisdictions a plus.
