Job Description
Post Investment Group (“Post”) is a Beverly Hills, California based privately held holding company with a diverse set of business interests. We invest both passively and actively. As active investors we take a controlling interest in companies, often partnering with seasoned entrepreneurs helping them realize their vision and achieve their potential. As a vertically integrated company, we have an operations team with in-house legal, accounting, finance, technology, marketing and human resource capabilities. Our business interests are predominantly focused in the following areas: Real Estate, Real Estate Services, Health and Wellness, and Consumer Products.
Post Investment Group and its affiliated entities (“Post”) has an opening for a full-time Director of Construction to join its team. The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:


Responsibilities:
  • Inspect new and potential acquisitions and develop a Physical Needs Assessment
  • Develop scope of work for projects for use in bid solicitation from contractors
  • Oversee and direct construction projects from conception to completion
  • Review the project in-depth to schedule deliverables and estimate costs
  • Ensure scheduling of contractors is laid out efficiently so owner expectations and deadlines are met
  • Communicate changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs.
  • Develop follow-up plans of action for critical items in coordination with ownership and management companies.
  • Manage multiple complicated projects simultaneously.
  • Meet contractual conditions of performance
  • Review the work progress on regular basis throughout term of contracts
  • Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status
  • Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of construction manager experience
  • Strong multi-family construction experience
  • Experience with drafting and finalizing Physical Needs Assessments
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Multi-State travel required.
