As a Director of Accounts, you will be responsible for expanding HealthTrust's footprint by maintaining professional business relationships and expediting the utilization of HealthTrust contracts and offerings to drive growth. You will have the opportunity to serve as a trusted advisor to the member(s) you support, engaging member executives regularly for the purpose of helping them achieve savings, improving performance, promoting standardization, and eliminating waste in the Supply Chain function and other key areas of their enterprise.

In this role you will be responsible for the below activities:

  • Formulating and leading as one point of contact for cross-business unit strategies and plans for member.
  • Moving strategic customers from current state to a trusted strategic partnership; formalizing partnership through an agreement that is recognized across HealthTrust and the account.
  • Meeting member specific targets for organic growth, contract performance, compliance, conversions, PA renewal, savings and strategic objectives.
  • Establishing productive, professional and consultative relationships with C-Suite and executive personnel throughout member organization, building credibility and trust through collaboration.
  • Leading solution development efforts that best address customer needs, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary HealthTrust personnel.
  • Proactively leading a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a one to three year period that leads to a clear action plan for success.
  • Coordinating the involvement of the vertical team (Specialists, Account Managers, Support Services, technical resources, operations management and leadership) to develop and articulate a strategic vision for member in order to meet account performance objectives and customers' expectations.
  • Building strategic partnerships with accounts to further advance company goals of revenue and margin enhancement.
  • Establishing strong relationships with key internal Sourcing, Supply Chain, Clinical Resources and Finance within HealthTrust to become a Trusted Advisor.
  • Keeping the organization's vision and values at the forefront of decision-making and action.
  • May supervise staff assigned to support responsibilities for specific customers.

Qualifications

What you need to be considered for this role:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or management related field; Advanced degree, CMRP and FACHE Preferred.
  • 3+ years of market segment experience or successful record of accomplishment as a Strategic Account Manager (supply chain and healthcare industry preferred)
  • 5+ years of strategic account management experience managing large national and/or global brand relationships.
  • Sales experience including prospecting, pipeline development and conversion.
  • Project management and Data analysis and visualization tools (such as Microsoft PowerBI and Tableau) experience.
  • Excel, Word, and PowerPoint experience required; Salesforce CRM and Consulting experience preferred.
  • Ability to travel up to 75%.
