Our products include specialized medical device reprocessing systems for endoscopy and renal dialysis, advanced water purification equipment, sterilants, disinfectants and cleaners, sterility assurance monitoring products for hospitals and dental clinics, disposable infection control products primarily for dental and GI endoscopy markets, dialysate concentrates, hollow fiber membrane filtration and separation products. Cantel is comprised of three divisions: Medical, Life Sciences and Dental.About the role: The Marketing Director – Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) is responsible for the creation and implementation of the marketing strategy and programs to support national ASC focused sales and services. This position will also assess customer needs, define the regional ASC portfolio and product vision, partner to develop business cases and identify and prioritize ASC specific product and commercial requirements. This position will work with the internal Marketing and business unit Franchise teams to prioritize ASC product development as well as ASC specific sales programs and targeted product launches. #CBWhat you will do:ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Create and develop the ASC sales & marketing strategy in partnership with the ASC Sales Director and Cantel Medical Leadership. Partner with critical functions to align to critical business outcomes.
  • Identify the needs for this new customer segment, collaborate with product marketing to develop comprehensive business cases, financial analyses, and marketing plans to enable senior management investment decisions
  • Build upon market segmentation and competitor analysis to drive strategy; maintain high level knowledge base about competition, market, and other trends and dynamics
  • Identify market research needs and collaborate with Strategic Marketing team to initiate the research and analyze quantitative and qualitative data to identify future customer and product opportunities and needs, to inform tradeoffs, and to ensure commercial success.
  • Demonstrate strong understanding and application of Marketing principles including market analysis, segmentation and targeting, competitive analysis, needs identification, value proposition development, pricing and positioning strategy development, financial modeling and messaging. Actively listen to market and internal insights to help shape critical focus areas.
  • Create a sales and marketing US roadmap for Fiscal Year 2022 and beyond.
  • Ensure strong connection between product and commercial marketing activities with the various franchises.
  • Lead and influence broader, regional commercial partners to maximize the ability to deliver intended new product value propositions to the customer base.
  • Implement sales strategies for new and existing products and services to ensure achievement of fiscal objectives.
  • Work with Brand, Digital and Medical teams and sales training partners to develop marketing collateral for new product launches.
  • Work with Brand, Digital and Medical teams to develop and release product, service and solutions materials, including sales brochures, catalogues, journal advertisements and product bulletins as part of integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Coordinate special events including district, regional and national meetings for products and services promotions.
  • Monitor unit sales, ASPs (Average Selling Price) and margins against Budget for key products; recommend corrective action to achieve Budget.
  • In collaboration with Sales, Finance, Franchise, and Sales Operations leadership, recommend and implement new product pricing.
  • Provide strategic, regional commercial oversight to ensure short-term and long-term product roadmaps enable the company to achieve commercial objectives inclusive of new platforms, new line extensions and other product enhancements.
  • Leverage Marketing Automation platforms to provide key messaging to accounts at pivotal moments in the buying cycle.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers
  • Establish ongoing communication with key customers to keep informed of current market needs, trends, issues, competition, etc.
  • Develop KOL strategy to inform product portfolio decisions and to get input on program development.
  • Provide superior customer technical support for sales representatives, in-service support, and new product information.
  • Help to drive new products through the company and its partner’s research & development process blending existing technology to market requirements.
  • Partnering with the cross-functional stakeholders to coordinate and support lead the strategy and launch of products to reach strategic goals.
What we are looking for:REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION:
  • BA/BS Degree required in Business or Marketing is required.
  • Minimum of 10+ years in sales or marketing and 5+ years of leadership experience is required
  • Knowledge of medical products especially single use products preferred; knowledge of reprocessing and sterilization helpful.
  • Strong business and financial acumen with a demonstrated success defining products domestically and internationally.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills in a matrix structure.
  • Excellent leadership and teamwork skills; able to work in high performance cross-functional teams, while influencing and developing peers.
  • Acts with full accountability, ownership, and a high sense of urgency.
  • Ability to quickly assimilate technical information
  • Must be very customer (internal and external) focused and results driven, Ability to build strong, trusted rapport with customers and internal constituents.
  • Ability to be assertive and demonstrate quiet conviction respectfully.

  • Must be able to travel up to 30% of the time.
LOCATION

Position will be based in either Plymouth, Minnesota.

Relocation considered for qualified candidate.


DESIRED CHARACTERISTICS FOR POSITION:
  • MBA from an accredited university
  • Experience in marketing deliverables as part of new product development preferred
  • Exposure in large and small cap environments
  • Familiarity with general infection prevention procedures and/or products
  • Experience with developing an ecommerce strategy
  • Track record of agile innovation
  • Proven success in key account marketing or ASCs
