Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Cerebral Palsy of Westchester provides services to children and adults with developmental disabilities in Westchester County. Full Time, Part Time and Per Diem DSP are needed at our four Residences located in Rye Brook, New Rochelle and White Plains. The Residence Counselor is responsible for providing direct care service to Adult individuals living in supervised residential settings and to do so in a manner that promotes growth, independence and dignity for those individuals we serve ensuring the overall quality of life.

Job Description:

As a Direct Support Professional you will be feeding, changing, toileting and caring for our participants. Since the residential program is a 24/7, individuals will need to be able to work evenings, overnights and weekends in order to qualify for any of the positions.

Requirements:

• A High School Diploma is required.
• College degree is preferred.
• Experience working with the Developmentally Disabled Population
• *Valid NYS Driver's License with own car

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $13.00 per hour
